Intro to Drawing

1. Most helpful warm up?
The most helpful warm up for me was the sphere that we drew in table groups. I've never really used charcoal before, so it allowed me a good opportunity to sort of experiment and see how it works. My group initially used the darker charcoal to color in the sphere, which was very hard to blend, and it gave me an idea of what not to do on my own drawing. I liked working with my table group to figure the shading and shadow together, even if it didn't turn out the best, because we still learned from it.
2. Composition- The arrangement of visual elements in a work of art.
Value- The relative lightness or darkness of a color.
